Why I Want to Represent You in California’s State Assembly District 34
It’s broken. Our democracy thrives on balance—balance of power, balance of ideas, balance in solving problems that impact the lives of everyday Californians. But for years, we have drifted further from that balance, slipping into deeper polarization, resentment, and disengagement. Extreme politics, media bubbles, and divisive algorithms have fueled this divide. And yet, despite these challenges, we remain one of the longest-standing democracies in the world. That is something worth fighting for. There is more work to do. I feel a deep obligation to use my experience and abilities to serve the incredible people of Assembly District 34. We need to make sure our voices are heard, that we move forward together, and that we build a better future for our region and our state. We live in a place full of opportunity. We have vast resources—room to grow, abundant sunshine and wind for clean energy, and beautiful open spaces worth protecting. But our greatest resource is our people. The people of this district are resilient, independent, and deeply connected to our land. There’s a reason why so many are drawn to our unique communities. I want to support that, strengthen it, and ensure that the people who make this region so special have the opportunities, representation, and quality of life they deserve.
